Infrastructure

A strong commitment to investment in road infrastructure on the part of provincial and federal governments has resulted in substantial new construction. The result is a network of twinned four-lane connections capable of moving goods quickly and safely. Recent expansion and upgrading of provincial route 1 and route 7 has made access to Saint John, Fredericton, and Moncton even faster and more convenient, for both commuters and commercial operators.

Saint Andrews is a short distance from Highway 1, which leads to the U.S border at St. Stephen. This is one of the highest volume border crossings in Canada with 1,800,000 travellers passing through every year. The Fundy region is home to more than 40 national, international, and regional motor carriers, and can accommodate any shipping needs whether inbound or outbound.
